Cyprian Chabvepi
Cyprian Chabvepi the Founder and managing partner of the corporate and commercial law firm, at Centuria, registered as Cyprian’s Law. He is a seasoned commercial lawyer by profession, qualified through a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of South Africa. He further holds a Business Basics qualification run by Junior Achievement Canada and is Alumni of the International Visitor Leadership programme run by the United States Department of state and the International Institute of Education-Washington DC, having completed a programme on Accountability in government and business in 2016. Cyprian is a Fellow of the flagship Mandela Washington Fellowship 2017, having graduated through the Business and Entrepreneurship Track from Drake University, IOWA United States. He is currently practicing attorney in specializing in corporate and legal advisory services to a wide range of companies, statutory organizations, the international investing community which he has advised actively on mining projects, solar power projects, micro financing projects and mergers and acquisitions with both local and foreign players.
Cyprian is a member of the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe. He sits on the boards of Harare Municipal Medical Aid Society (HMMAS) where he chairs the Audit Committee. He has extensive experience in corporate leadership and has been Company Secretary for a luxury coach operator with a strong presence in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Experience has been drawn from being a trustee of a non-profit organizations operating in varying sector.
He is generally passionate about the development of and economic independence of people through entrepreneurship, the enhancement of ethics and ethical conduct in corporate boards for the confidence of investment. Cyprian is an avid golfer, occasional traveler and daring entrepreneur with interests in venture capital and private equity, energy and fuel among others.
